I have the weirdest #HomeAssistant bug. Sometimes, usually after rebooting the mac/updates, it won't let me sign in, “Invalid username or password”. I'm logged in with same credentials on my phone and I can log out/log in to another mac w/safari and those credentials just fine. The last time I figured it out was a while ago, but I forgot what the magic trick was. HA is on an old Pi 3.
@jerzone I was having a weird issue like that because my browser was auto populating the username and password with my password manager. I found I needed to paste the credential, go to the end, hit space and then back space. It seems as if the credential boxes don’t register the input unless there a manual key stroke. Try manually typing in credentials with your keyboard instead of copy paste or auto populate.
@mharleydev 🙌🏼 That was it! Now my memory comes back that I had to manually type name/pwd, but just deleting and re-typing last char of each also worked.

I've had issues sometimes where my mac will start corrupting the clipboard - when I pasted the password into a terminal prompt I could see that it was truncated from what I was seeing in 1Password.
Quitting and restarting the app I'm pasting into fixes it. It only happens every few weeks so I haven't been able to track down the trigger.
Related, I recently bought a new PI 4 now that supplies are back and prices back down. Does anyone have a fav video/blog post on how to migrate everything over to a new pi? #HomeAssistant
