I try to avoid relying on any google products. Google loves to kill products.

I moved to porkbun, ui looks dated but everything worked fine. They also provide email redirect which I needed.

Hover.com has worked for, well decades now. They’re really Tucows with a shiny coat of paint, and Tucows were one of the first registrars.

Name cheap worked for me, I don’t have tons of experience but it works and been easy to use.

Moved to namecheap from google and it’s been great (and less expensive).

Been running OMV 5 for like 3 years now. Before that was plain Debian. Most likely will go back to Debian in the future. OMV has some weird ways it manages disks and caused me some effort getting snapraid to work ‘easily’.

You never realise just how much you’ve got running, connected, “organised” before shutting everything down and moving it.

I’m switching rooms so my daughter gets the larger bedroom, and the rack has to go as I’m downsizing. I’m the meantime before I sell the 36U monster I’ve got to stack everything on the floor. Oof 😅
