As I have become older, I have come to terms with the fact that I will never have enough time to do everything I want to do.

For instance, last fall I've started to learn . I feel that this will pay off in the long term, and offer me new options for study, research, and vacations. Yet it also means that I spend about 5-6 hours every week on studying this language, and I very much notice that those hours are missing for activities. The days aren't just going to lengthen themselves magically, somehow.

And everyone has different amounts of free time available. Some people have highly demanding jobs. Some people have small children they need to take care of. Some people have very long commutes. Some people have ailments that make it hard for them to focus on various activities. Everyone is in a different situation.

So enjoy whatever time you can spend on things that are of interest you. But don't beat yourself up if you don't find the time to do everything you want. That's not a personal failure - it's just life!
