"#Deregulation" has left many consumers vulnerable to what I call "fraud by optical illusion": producers will continuously vary there box an other retail container sizes, so that consumers will not realize it most of the time, when they pay more for less content.
Markets in antiquity started out with standard measurements.
From the 1970s until the #EU agreed upon the disastrous #deregulation of retail box and container sizes in May, 2007*, consumers were protected from this kind of shenanigans, to put it mildly.
Maybe it should be investigated, who was lobbying for deregulation and, to put it mildly, whether "due process" for all #EU officials was maintained in the light of recent scandals of members of the European Parliament accepting bribes* from #Qatar and #Morocco*** for other "favors."
