Today, the National Radio and Television Council (KRRiT) has fined TVN24 550,000 PLN (~$139,000) for "Franciszkańska 3" documentary, which tried to prove Saint Pope John Paul II helped cover #pedophilia while he was Archbishop of Kraków in 1950s.
Seats in KRRiT are assigned by politicians. Currently, 4 of its 5 members are PiS nominees.
