@TechCrunch this is rather confusing on written on the central point - is this and ActivityPub <-> AT protocol bridge, or an API for client apps? The first part makes it sound like it’s just client apps being compatible (yawn), but the later part sound more like a bridge.

@john @TechCrunch at the moment, SkyBridge lets you use e.g. Ivory with a Bluesky account. It’s a bit clunky and some things don’t work “properly”, but it does basically work. Specifically, the two protocols are separate, so you don’t see Mastodon stuff in your Bsky feed and Vice Versa.

@danofthewibble @TechCrunch Right, so its an implementation of the the client-server protocol, not server-server part of ActivityPub. Which is a big yawn from me!
