Deep sea mining permits may be coming soon. What are they and what might happen?

This is going to be a shit show. If they can make robots to hand pick the nodules, then fined but you know it's going to be just some huge dredge that fucks everything up down there. They need to do some long term studies first to see if a dredge maneuver has any long term impact or if the sediment just resettled.
