  1. do you need a battery to handle frequent outages?
  2. does your utility rate support it having a ROI?

If the answer to 1 is yes, go for it now, if the answer to 2 is an ROI less than 10-20 years, go for it. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense yet, imo.

Prices were stupid inflated during covid, so I imagine they're still trending downward for a bit.
