So, do you think that was kayfabe, or is Chuckie T actually finished? He got to say shit on TV, and had an epic final match - but if he’s not coming back as either a wrestler or manager i’m going to miss him - the Best Friends & Dark Order were both my favourite things from early days AEW outside of the Bucks, Omega, Hangman early story that culminated in the original Stadium Stampede.

I guess given the references from Kenny he’s written out until a point where he can compete in a Blood & Guts match; but if the write-out was so he could get surgery I thought the way it worked is that the timeline for recovery was pretty open ended.

I have to believe its kayfabe and a part of the Trent/OC overall story, with him just returning later. I’ve seen shit-all news report wise anywhere saying he’s actually injured and having to retire, nor of any backstage issues, him wanting to leave/being gotten rid of or anything of the like and by all rights there should be something if it was a valid thing beyond the storyline. That being said I agree. Love the guy and would hate to never see another awful waffle.

Given the (light) action he had during last night’s show I am fully on the “we’re being worked” train. Not with the overall medical condition obviously but his current status. For him to get in the ring and even take a bump he had to have been at least medically cleared enough (so-to-speak) to do what he did so I’m thinking whatever he needed to have done, be it surgery or some other form of treatment, has probably already been done and he’s well into recovery. That or hes doing something to mitigate the symptoms enough that he can do some work, either way I think we’re gonna see him back within a month or two (but I could also be talking right out of my high ass so~)

Yeah I feel like with Chuck would’ve at least gotten a bigger announcement and not on the same show that Kenny updates us on his health.

Kenny and Danielson are sympathy merchants. For his last injury x he started popping up on Twitch before his return but alot of it was somber and he may not wrestle again. Came out bandaged up in the return Trios match and immediately had it worked in the match

Tonight, he highlights he can’t get hit in the guts rn and immediately takes a chair shot to the guts

Someone on ye ol craphole summed it up: When AEW men have a hardcore match a good chunk of the match is just going all over the place, doing shit out in the audience, etc. When the AEW women have a hardcore match they tend to stay in the ring and/or ringside and just bring in a million lbs of weapons.

I prefer the latter!

It’s an easier viewing experience when they stay more centralized. Not that I don’t mind a good out in the crowd from time to time!

I’ve said it but again I genuinely am wondering if Tony is getting rid of LFI as a group at this point.

Rush returned last week, pretape on this episode, no mention of LFI anywhere, jose gone, Vance interacting with DO on BTDO, Dralistico having a cerveza at home probably, I gotta figure they decided to just go solo with Rush.

Yeah Rush has had it from day 1, Dralistico…well forgive me for the slight but i can barely identify the guy. AEW’s had so many luchadores come through that he’s another guy in a mask to me, put Colt under the mask and I may not tell the difference.

Preston could have been so much bigger even post DO-turn if he just ya know…didn’t join LFI lol.
