Well water in our area is polluted by a Teflon company that didn't give a 💩 about humans, only 💰. So we get bottled water from WB Mason.
Our delivery driver is wicked friendly, & a joy to interact with, but when we met him I was in Boy Mode. Now, it's getting warm out, so I'm going to have to out myself (ugh).
Also, he always says "hey buddy!" when he greets me and I realized, I can't think of a female or neutral equivalent for that. 🤔
@sativacat yeah, i was out chopping our front bushes this morning in a cami (because it was warm & hot work) and I'm like... well, i guess I'm outing myself to my neighbors if any of the happen to look over.
It just sucks that anyone should be in this position.
SO MANY of society's problems would be fixed if gender were just treated as "yeah, whatever." .... and also we wouldn't have to worry about outing ourselves and repercussions and and and. :/
