Yeah, those Sunsoft composers had a knack for that. These two composers also worked on Journey to Silius, which might be my favorite of their drum work.
You could always count on Sunsoft's NES games to have solid music. After this, their classic PCM bass samples and use of expansion chips made the NES really sing.
