Pretty happy with how this turned out, even months later...
I have been a hobby woodworker for about a decade now, and this thing is by far the most fun I have in the shop. Unlike building a big piece of furniture that can take me weeks, I usually can come up with an idea and be assembling things within a few hours....
If I were to make these out of wood for an entertainment center (Legs would be 12" tall, 18" wide), would they be strong enough without a stretcher running between them?...
Some little chickens I just turned. Inspired by Andy’s Cornish Creations, from L to R: birch, Myrtlewood, some kind of rosewood (we think), and maple.
Doesn’t seem flat enough to me. I’ve always heard the tablesaw is the flattest surface in your shop. Is this okay?
Hi folks, I’ve been planning to install built-in shelves for a while now around our chimney and could do with a more experienced eye before committing....
Some oak, some maple, three large, two small....
Full disclosure: I didn’t make the clock hands, I just bought them off Amazon....

I finally got a #7 and needed a place to keep it. My #5-1/2 fit into a drawer so I never needed large plane till until now....
I made a thing today! First time making a cutting board. Came out pretty nice I think.
Made these following the Fisher’s Shop woven cutting board video....
I found it in a forest in Jura mountains (France). Do you think I could make an axe handle out of it?
This 17 by 6.5" (43 x 16.5 cm) cherry burl bowl is finally done. It has two rings of walnut. The top ring has an inlay of hard cherry. The voids in the burl have been filled with tinted epoxy.
Wanted to have a kitchen knife I didn’t care about beating up to take camping and such. My wife grabbed a junk kitchen knife from a thrift store and I went to town on it....
Made from one 2’x4’ sheet of 1/4 inch Birch Ply and two eight foot sticks of cedar trim. House measures 11.5 inches wide by 24" long. Commissioned for Mia by her owner.
This was inspired by a Rex Kruger video where he makes a stool from a single 2x4, and by Chris Schwarz’s staked high stool....
