Door mat purchased in 1974 when we married and set up house.
Supposely recycled tyres or may be manufacturing waste since there were factories in Adelaide, South Australia, back then.
Has been in continuous use at all the places we've lived since 1974.
It's probably good for another 50 years.

@CaraBruar holy cow. these used to be all over my hometown in northern canada. i have not seen one in almost 40 years. they were identical

@CaraBruar ours was a town full of poor fishermen, so i have no doubt someone probably made them locally. there were no shortage of tires in ditches!
