TerryHancock, 8 months ago to blender #Inktober has me thinking about the aesthetics of ink, and how I've used #Blender to create "ink" art for #NPR3D effects in #LunaticsProject. I did a pretty solid benchmark comparison between results from #EdgeNode (a compositing-stage solution) and #Freestyle (geometry based) in 2018: https://lunaticsproject.org/2019/01/01/december-2018-summary/ Those were (and are) what's available to me in Blender 2.79. With the later Blender release came upgrades to #GreasePencil which can be used to some degree, and the apparently very popular #LineArt system, which I really haven't tried properly yet.
