Alexstarfire,

Depending on the circumstances, isn’t this a legit complaint? If you only use it on private property it doesn’t need to be registered, right?

I am giving them the benefit of the don’t since I have no further information. I’m sure the police have evidence to disprove this scenario.

Alexstarfire,

I think my list will upset most people. I don’t like the first two movies at all.

  1. Fury Road
  2. Thunderdome

The other 3 don’t matter because I have no plans to see Furiosa and no plans to ever re-watch the first two movies. And I’m in the middle of watching/re-watching my entire film collection.

Alexstarfire,

How does removing drink fountains make anything more consistent? I’d be shocked if they got rid of them in the back and switched to cans or bottles. Seems like a blatant grab to get more money from consumers for something that is by far the cheapest cost thing on the menu.

Alexstarfire,

Guess if you don’t eat in-store anyway it doesn’t matter. Wonder what the ratio is of eat-in vs take-out is.

Do old phones just sound better?

So I’ve been messing around with a few phones lately, a nexus 6p, a pixel 3a xl, and a s21 ultra, and I’ve noticed that on the 6p and 3a xl both sound louder, punchier, and clearer when compared to the s21 ultra. They also both have that thicc notch design with a massive speakerphone which might add to the high volume...

Alexstarfire,

My old phone became my alarm clock. Sounds ridiculous but my OnePlus Nord N30 has missed a few alarms since I’ve owned it, less than a year. It actually doesn’t even tell you until you restart the phone. Never thought I’d have to worry about a fucking alarm not working on my phone. That’s got to be one of the simplest things a phone can do.

Alexstarfire,

You know, I had to deal with that for another app and I didn’t think about it for this one. I’ll check it out for this one too. Thanks.

Alexstarfire, (edited )

Hopefully old age. Though, I guess that’s both of them.

Alexstarfire,

Maybe cutting down the forest was a bad idea.

Alexstarfire,

I think you added a couple of 0s to the revenue. Cause nothing is close to $1b here.

Alexstarfire,

Apple has zombie nudes. Google got jealous and came up with zombie apps.

Alexstarfire,

Damn, tough enough to destroy the blades. Gonna be difficult to eat.

Alexstarfire,

This can be rewritten many, many, many times.

Alexstarfire,

Nah, the acorn won’t be very loud when it hits the water.

‘We’ll See You at Your House:’ How Fear and Menace Are Transforming Politics (www.nytimes.com)

There is little research on the political views of those behind the onslaught of abuse. Some surveys show that Republican officeholders are more likely to report being targeted, often from members of their own party. Research does show, however, that recent acts of political violence are more likely to be carried out by...

Alexstarfire,

I think this take is a few thousand years late. When has fear not been a part of politics?

Alexstarfire,

You feel that way about all the people who’ve stolen crypto as well? Wage theft? What about Sam Bankman-Fried?

Alexstarfire,

I’m not arguing for religion to be in school. I’m just saying what’s there is already bad enough without making stuff up.

Alexstarfire,

Reddit is a forum. If you don’t think so I’m curious to know what differentiates it from one.
