Honestly, relative to polls, it's not even that bad; Volt and Die Partei voters at the EU level mostly vote Green or maaaybe SPD at the federal level. There isn't much of a story here beyond "the economy in Germany was bad in 2022-3 due to unusual exposure to Russia and is only starting to recover."
@Alon Hard to tell at this point which of Open VLD or CD&V is further to the right, they're always governing together without too much of a fuss. The last big clash between them that I remember was CD&V vetoing a loosening of abortion laws.
You're totally right about Les Engagés/MR, especially now. I guess they'll stay in their respective groups by inertia, unless they do something wild.
