I'm gonna be really honest. I'm feeling a bit emotional about this whole thing. Just a swarm of emotions.

Sadness because of having to leave behind all of my posts and discussions with most of you and the connections I seemingly lost with this move.

Nervous because hosting an instance for others is a new experience for me and I'd really hate to screw it up.

Excited for what the future might hold and all the new people I might meet along the way.

Happy that I have taken this step in moving my Fediverse journey forward.

Hopeful that I can do something good for people here and it's viewed as something good.

Grateful for all the friends and connections I've made along this wild ride this far.

Thank you, kind friends. I honestly don't know what else I'd be spending my time doing if I hadn't decided to start this journey with you almost a year ago.

Well, it's official. My posts ain't coming with me.

Oh well. I'll be sad that all that Fedi history will be eventually wiped away, but I am glad to be making the migration.

I still have most of the images I've posted over the year, so I hope you all won't mind if I repost some of them from time to time, and maybe you can help me get re-federated as much as I was before!

Here goes everything....I hope I don't crash the instance.😬
