The important part is to align him with Biden and shit all over everything.

It doesn’t matter if there is a republican giving full throated support to apartheid… if a democrat even seems icky that’s more important.

Beetschnapps,

Are you familiar with republican foreign policy?

Beetschnapps,

I’m late to the party… is “jellico” a thing? Or is this community a weird Cats+Star Trek meme factory?

So many years of lore and good entertainment and this is top of mind…

Beetschnapps,

Whenever “crime” comes up, the answer is usually “get tougher” more police etc. No one ever questions the approach or performance of the police.

Sometimes it feels like selective enforcement. I mean, heaven forbid we question the police and their ability to properly do their job vs just earning OT…

But why is it you see a huge police presence whenever someone protests something, yet this “lawlessness” pervades?

Beetschnapps, (edited )

No. Racist too. Classist shit already existed with property taxes being linked to school district funding.

Now you can just straight opt out of going to a school with too many colored folk.

PS to add: It’s worth pointing out, that the whole mention of “choice” presupposes that no one tries to improve a school, just leave it… while republicans starve its funding… just so happens to be in a black neighborhood.

Beetschnapps,

It’s not even an issue for her.

ANITA HILL VOTED FOR BIDEN.

But for you? I’m sure Biden also stubbed your toe.

Beetschnapps,

… and is completely irrelevant to this article or anything being discussed.

Almost like it’s clear we are moving well past the rule of law and into a place where all that matters is who you know…

Young voters aren’t as liberal as you think (www.washingtonpost.com)

None of this is to claim that younger voters in general are not more to the left on most issues than their older counterparts. They are. But there is a difference between being more progressive than other voters — and progressive as a blanket characterization. As this data clearly shows, that characterization is not accurate...

“everyone i know is indifferent I guess…”

Those stuck in “reality” are truly left to deal with the fact that indifference has more votes. Cause every election come, folks are just too happy to accept the status quo, or accept facism with a sentiment like “they probably will…”

Beetschnapps, (edited )

If it helps… just substitute the quote “All the gen-z I know” with “anecdotally you can ignore this.”

Problem is 3.5 years of any one presidential term isn’t going to suddenly change the structural stuff. It’s unrealistic especially in the context of 8 years of bush and reagan each, plus 4 years of bush 1 AND 4 years of trump straight gassing protestors yet still potentially getting re-elected. PLUS a congress full of republicans supporting them all the way.

You will never see any structural change even remotely close to what you’re talking about, so long as people elect republicans. Even if you want to lean heavily on a single president to wave the wand, the next administration can just reverse/neuter it. Without a solid Democratic majority in congress to go along with a Democratic President you couldn’t even have the conversation.

If republicans get elected you’re going to be set back 10 more years and the conversation will be for a fraction of what could have been…

Beetschnapps,
Beetschnapps,

Crumple zones? Fuck that! Truck so light I’ll just bounce off the wall.

Beetschnapps,

It’s hard to appreciate the history of the flag once it’s been appropriated by nazis.

“It’s not a swastika, trust me I’m flying what was once an ancient Sanskrit symbol of peace…”

It was once one thing… but now? It’s a fucking nazi flag. Which coincidentally also flies in grocery stores in Florida cause reasons…

Beetschnapps,

Passively displaying any stuff is the holy grail, but we get there step by step.

Beetschnapps,

Seriously though, which one of y’all cuts hair?

Beetschnapps,

That right there. If 70s rent control can’t even allow for a super hero, then fuck it… close the books.

Beetschnapps,

So in lots of places like in Cambridge the lanes have been shown to alleviate traffic.

There are so many reasons to complain about traffic, so many REAL reasons like arteries around downtown or alewife…

So why use the term “paternalism”? Wu’s not even your father…

Beetschnapps,

Almost like a right-wing media apparatus that started as “Fox News lies” has now expanded out and is gaslighting the whole country.

The country pretty much shrugged their shoulders after 9-11 so why not?

Beetschnapps,

The important thing is to be important. Engineering has to deal with teammates that don’t have these problems, so they equalize.

Beetschnapps,

Holy shit that was weird.

Beetschnapps,

“Even when you believe you’ve found yourself the right job, it can evaporate in an instant, and then you are suddenly competing against hundreds or thousands of people for every job position,” Kai said.

Beetschnapps,

This is the example of mental gymnastics people should reference.

“Slang” kids! He’s old!

Beetschnapps,

So… what? You really like to point out she killed her dog. Seems important to you.

Why?

Beetschnapps,

The important thing is that you find gratification regardless…

Do you feel good? Need a tummy rub?
