The problem is I’m in the arse end of the world in New Zealand and server gear is not cheap, otherwise I may go with an Xeon Gold.

The M4 already has E5-2650 v2

0, very good, but I feel the grass on the bottom left is off (see comment on 6, probably real)
1, the dead grass on the right looks off
2, the trees to the top left look shifty
3, the dead sedg/grass in the center looks too even
4, might be real
5, the dead grass again looks off
6, same location and time as 0, either the same seed or real

I take offence at that, we have a KJV on our book shelf and it is never opened and I certainly don’t call my self a fundamentalist Christian, or even a Christian.

It is sitting with the greek myths, british folk law, NZ pre European accounts/trade/culture, and the section with all the language/translation etc

Well it’s been 10 months since I left redis and spun up my own instance. It’s been a fun little ride with a very fast surge at the start and a bit of a plato. Lemmy seems to be gaining traction again, which is good.

How has it changed me? - I guess I actuall spend more time here than I did on reddit - as I find the quality of comments far better and more enjoyable

As an admin / owner I have had to see and deal with some stuff that I wish I hadn’t had to see - there are some sick fucks out there

I work in food manufacturing and get the local water test results emailed to me monthly - they are alway well within limits

If you ever have an aquarium with them in you will find that they will just up and move some where else if they decide where tey are is not to their liking

Ingenious ways to measure power draw

So I wanted to get myself a Kill-a-watt. Being who I am, I wanted information regarding its accuracy, especially at low power draws. I found a comparison with a industry grade equipment (Fluke is about the best out there in handheld electrical meters). It’s not encouraging, so I thought about a more proper meter, but it’s...

I thought I would take a couple of photos of my little brother at the local Autumn Festival doing some carving. There was a bit of interest in another photo I posted the other week in a thread about nylon spatulas

I think if Trump trulley embraces the christian fundamentalists then you will be a lot closer. I do worry about what will happen in across October to January. Either way your election goes I think you are for a lot of hurt socially and as a democracy.

 • Will the world stand by as you sink into a pseudo-civil war if the right loses?
 • Will the world stand by as you sink into a pseudo-dictatorship (with plans for a full on one?) with very differing views to much of the western world?

Either way I think there is more to come - unfortunately
