Well fans, here we are at the probable end of another season with the same problems and the same problem children. What's clear is that certain players think they know more than the coach. I do wish Bowness well in his retirement (why on earth would he stay?). He deserved better.

I hate to say this ... but when Mark Scheifele goes down so do our chances to win & advance. Y'all remember those 2 times when he left injured and we ... pretty much fell by the waist side. I ain't saying everything hinges on Scheifele but we need ALL HANDS on deck! Know what I'm sayin'. @hnom

Funny story about Eddie Belfour. When I was young and fun, I spent several glorious summers working at his golf tournament at the Carman Golf Club. Every year, he, the pros, and a few others would stay after the tournament and drink their faces off. Two staff stayed behind to serve them.

One year, Drunk Eddie starts throwing beer bottles around the clubhouse. Megan (not her real name) deems him to be out of control and CALLS THE COPS ON HIM AT HIS OWN TOURNAMENT! 😂

So what do you suppose happens? Well, small town cops are gonna small town cop. They show up, talk to Eddie and the pro a bit, and leave.

Poor Megan was in so much trouble the next day. We servers cheered her on.

Anyway, I still have the hat he signed for me at one of the tournaments.

@mike the fact that he achieved what he did from the environment he grew up in is remarkable. His sister and her friends once chased me and two friends down their street throwing their shoes at us. I am a slow runner and it didn't occur to me that they likely weren't fast either, on account of them throwing the shoes from their feet at us. Lol.
