One of the reasons billionaires can “clog up the system” is because Judges are actually really overworked.
In Trump’s Florida case there were only 5 judges who could potentially handle the case, 2 of them were retired and temporarily filing in to keep the system moving, and 3 of them were already booked out for the rest of the year, Eileen Cannon was a 50-50 draw for Trump in that district.
Many cases plea out because it would take so long to go through the system, that between the waiting for the start of the trial and not getting time served it’s less time to just take a plea.
I’m so damn happy to support the people trying to keep those explosives out of the ground, where they’d lay for dozens of years waiting to maim future generations.
I couldn’t think of a better use for them than to blow up the people bringing them in.
Fuck the front line of Russia and anyone who supports it.
It’s really not a hard thing to cut out… Especially with how much I’ve heard they cost these days, for the exact same shitty product.
I used to go once in a while to get their shitty cheap breakfast burritos (thinking about it makes my mouth water), 2 for 2 Dollars.
Last time I went I was out almost 5 dollars for the exact same shitty tiny breakfast burritos.
I can get a giant hand made breakfast burrito for less than twice that. Or a carton of beaten eggs, Mexican cheese tortillas and sausage for the same price
Do you have a steam account already? Do you have a gaming pc of any variety?
I love my deck, but I’m a nearly 20 year steam user. If you have a backlog and no steam account, why would you give yourself more of a backlog? (Although the emulation ability of the deck is fantastic, but again, why did a bigger back log hole?)
Sounds like a deck is perfect for you, I’d recommend the refurbished 512 led (got one for mom, she’s loving it, and hasn’t had a single problem), or the smallest LCD and a large memory card.
Emulation is a breeze, and it’s a pretty powerful gaming PC in it’s own right. I rarely push it, but I’ve run Witcher 3, which was as good as my 5 year old "gaming"laptop, and baldurs gate 3 runs decently. I’ve seen my buddy run ‘no man’s sky’ at what looked like buttery 60fps, though he didn’t have the overlay turned on. I’d recommend a cheap Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and a kickstand unless you’re going to play it hooked up to the TV, then you’ll need a pass through power cable and usbc-> TV input adapter (HDMI), or the dock that they sell, but I haven’t had reason to try one.
Their fur is very dense, otter fur has more hairs per square inch than any other mammal, a million per square inch, like a hundred times what humans have. The oils excreted into their fur creates a hydrophobic layer that keeps the water on the outside. It’s in nowhere near shark skin (which exhibits incredibe hydrodynamics, like we’re studying it in labs to better improve aerodynamics of cars and planes, a single bite of food is enough to get a great white shark from California to Japan their skin is so efficient at moving through water), but it’s very good at keeping the water out and their movement efficient, their hair does not cause Resistance like human hair does. Our hair hangs out and gets water in it and creates drag, otter hair seals itself around the meat and creates a cylinder, keeping happy warm dry otter inside.
I got the treat of touching/petting a wild otter while it was sedated, it’s on of my top 10 experiences. It was not a happy camper when it woke up. It had to be in an ice bath while sedated otherwise it’s hair/fur coat would’ve caused it to overheat while being knocked out because it is incapable of homeostatic regulation while sedated. When it woke up it was a wild otter in an ice bath, lil (haha, huge actually) dude was pissed.
I’ve never felt one under water, nor did I try to go skin deep when I had my opportunity, but I would guess they’re pretty dry under there, I couldn’t say for sure though.
On Tuesday, voters in Crook County passed measure 7-86, which asked voters if they support negotiations to move the Oregon/Idaho border to include Crook County in Idaho. The measure is passing with 53% of the vote, and makes Crook County the 13th county in eastern Oregon to pass a Greater Idaho measure.
I do think there needs to be a dissolution of the parties, but accusing both sides of being the same is not valid nor useful in the state (lol, country?) that we currently live in.
Plenty of spots on the 80 I cruise the speed limit in the 2nd slowest lane without any troubles. Just because a few people need to fly doesn’t mean the rest of the world does.
You’re asking for twice as much noise into your ears?
I’m certain there are recordings of background noise, but none of it will do what you’re asking. It’d be like trying to cancel a recording of your voice by talking over it. A fun experiment to get the grandkids to do when they go home. Better yet, on the car ride home.
That’s only 15,000 times further away than we’ve ever sent an object with mass. Also it’s in a specific direction, which is not what we did with our furthest away object.
Someone decided your belief was worthy of a show of non support, I’ve set it back to neutral and would like to call the person out. This is an entirely too possible rational take.
Once the ocean currents stop flowing, or the acidification and heat raises the CaCO3 level into the phytoplankton zone, we gonna be real dead, especially if we continue to burn for energy.
What policy or program would you pay more taxes to support?
