I am never up this late, but I took Mr 10 to Hamer Hall to see the MSO play Return of the Jedi. Fantastic performance, and a good excuse for a day off school tomorrow/today. And I am that tired I cannot think… goodnight peeps. Sweet dreams.

It feels like you’re having an affair for the first few days!

I have three cats. Every time I open the pantry or a crinkly packet I get at least one and sometimes it’s a trifecta. It makes it easy to do a headcount too. Oh and the dog is trained too, and will often beat the cats to the bench. It’s their house,I just live here and refill the treat container.

Clever doggo! We too pay the cheese tax.

They have us so well trained!

Our morning session is called the ‘cold meat crew’. 🍖 members assemble at the kitchen bench while Dad makes his lunch and dispenses slivers of whatever meat is bestowing his sandwiches today. It’s funny how well trained we are!

Rub the belly!

That is just a baby! Got some healing to do though. Lots of not sitting on your bum, high protein eating and daily dressing for a bit. Have you got help with the dressings?

Try to lean on one cheek at a time. Pressure is going to delay your healing.

You should qualify for post acute care, which will supply 3 days of dressing supplies and 7 days of home visits. Following that, you can do a search and find your local HACC/PYP provider in your local government area and call them to see if they can help.

I’ve seen some people try with a mirror!

Might still be worth a call. My workplace (too far out to help you) routinely services people who don’t fit traditional funded services with low fees. We don’t like to see people not serviced.

You might have more luck with the HACC/PYP services, or a GP clinic, even if you can reduce the dressing frequency to 2nd daily. It’ll probably be Bolton Clarke. They should have the ability for you to pay a fee for service, but they are a private company and can be pricey. Its worth a look though. And it’s a shame you’re not further out, we’d be happy to look after your butt crack for whatever you could afford!

I will admit I was left a bit unenthusiastic about them too.

It’s important to recognise how exhausting kids are, especially when they’re sick and needing that extra hospital help. We get so caught up with keeping up that we forget it’s okay to stop and rest, so enjoy that couch time.

I haven’t been able to get them for ages. Coles have individual small tins that are a little bigger but their supply isn’t great either.

I turned on the split system for the cats.

Birthday wishes to you! You share your birthday with one of my childhood friends who is a lovely person, so it must be the day for good people!
