Calling people that want X but do not see themselves (and are not) anywhere near far right Nazis means that the word loses all meaning. “I am a Nazi? I guess all the other people they call Nazis are/were not that bad then”
Yes, everything is blurry, no question. By blanket calling all of them Nazi the word loses it’s meaning. Those that previously would be like “Nazis are bad” find themselves called just that. That is all I am saying. It does not help.
Nazi is the most extreme far right possible. Everything else is less crazy. Mildly right people are not Nazis. They can be racist, close minded, whatever.
I dance. I love to dance actually. It’s the only time and place where I can actually stop thinking for as long as I’m there. It has helped a ton for my mental health. It is the absolute breathing room I need while swimming in an ocean....
I assume most people just go to dancing casually because they like it. They do not want to have to deal with having to excuse themselves for something they do for themselves for fun.
For the same reason it can be sad when you only keep repeating the same things over and over again.
I assume today it is more a compete OS with games, browser, officer suite, video editing, … than just a messenger? It sure would be if I extrapolate my experience from back in the day.

The cracks etc. on the Miami bridge collapse developed over… weeks? They just said “nah, it’s fine” and failed to even measure how big and deep they actually are. I mean if you ignore everything up to the collapse, then it really is sudden. Not saying that you are generally wrong, but usually it is more a lack of data or ignoring it.
Again, it is absolutely capable to come up with it’s own logical stuff, hence my example. Stop saying it just copies existing stuff, that is simply wrong.
Examples showing that it comes up with it’s own solutions to an answer? Just ask it something that could not have been on the Internet before. Professor talking about AGI in GPT 4
Personal examples would be to code python to solve a 2D thermal heat flux problem given some context and constraints.
this paper says it is capable of original thought. It also “speaks” of it in high regard in other things. That is also my experience using it for… over a year?! now.
“electronic parrot” and outperforming almost all humans in creativity and originality is an extreme contrast to me, regardless of my misuse of terms. So I fail to understand what you want to say, since this contrast must be apparent to you too.
The original context of my comment was even more basic and to me proven by what the paper says: Those are not things it copied somewhere. Also, I still think there is no test to prove it can/can’t think.
