GeneralVincent,

ignores science

Can you provide some links to that science?

GeneralVincent,

Well this is the technology community. Kinda obvious we’re all nerds here, and care about technology 🤷 and we don’t really have to look hard lol

GeneralVincent,

She just mad because so many Republican men get turned on by twinks and femboys that she can’t compete

GeneralVincent,

Zionism is a religious and political movement to reclaim Palestine for the Israeli people and views that land as inherently belonging to Jewish people because God said so.

That belief alone is not enough to call it a genocidal ideology. However, because Zionists overwhelmingly “reclaim” the land by terrorizing the current inhabitants, it’s not that much of a stretch.

It is also inherently nationalistic and Zionists are inherently colonizers. It’s not racist to say that because it’s an ideology, and a harmful one.

Just like I’d call all Westboro Baptists bigots. And I’d call any far-right group fascists. The Zionist ideology is the exact same

GeneralVincent,

Because it takes a special kind of person to stand in one place for 8-12 hours repeating the same repetitive motion every day for years. I don’t have the patience for that shit

GeneralVincent,

Interesting response. I got my CompTIA A+ cert so I could have more options, and applied at over 150 jobs before I got an interview. I’m very aware of how fortunate I am, but it wasn’t like I just walked away from factory work easily. I worked in five different factories before I got into tech, and I’m making less than I was before. But my skills are better in other fields for sure

GeneralVincent,

That’s Kazoo. Kahoots is a Mexican coffee liqueur.

GeneralVincent,

This isn’t too far fetched. I recently saw a video of a woman who is Muslim explaining why she personally wouldn’t take her hijab off in front of a trans woman. Which is the opposite of the op story

BUT… it’s obvious that figuring out how trans women fit into their religious beliefs would be a discussion among Muslim women. Just like Christianity, there are going to be different interpretations, person to person even, of what is ok and not. Seems to me like this would actually be a really easy way for a woman to show her support to a friend.

GeneralVincent,

I agree, it’s good to learn life lessons at a young age. Not sure what that has to do with the article about giving a 7 year with autism PTSD after being pinned to the ground by an adult for half an hour.

GeneralVincent,

I’m not seeing the connection between misogyny and eating animals. Are there any better examples?

GeneralVincent,

Backlash doesn’t always mean people are offended/upset. I think most people just recognize this as an ad done in bad taste or even just out of touch.

Bad company makes bad ad, people say it’s bad. Sure, kinda pointless to talk about, but it’s just another reason not to buy it and tell others not to buy into their anti consumer crap.

GeneralVincent,

Irregardless of if you’re right or not, your comments are pretty aggressive. Maybe you didn’t mean it, but people are reading it that way.

GeneralVincent,

It sounds like your feelings are hurt. I can tell because you’re trying to cover it with the ‘lmfao’

I know you’re not lmfaoing more than once since that’s impossible, and you did admit to being aggressive so that does sound manic. Maybe you should take a mental health day and go to a spa or something? It helps when dealing with trolls

GeneralVincent,

Oh, I passed my A+ last year so I know this one!

Port 21?

After announcing increased prices, Spotify to Pay Songwriters About $150 Million Less Next Year (www.billboard.com)

When Bloomberg reported that Spotify would be upping the cost of its premium subscription from $9.99 to $10.99, and including 15 hours of audiobooks per month in the U.S., the change sounded like a win for songwriters and publishers. Higher subscription prices typically equate to a bump in U.S. mechanical royalties — but not...

GeneralVincent,

I believe tidal actually has a larger library than Spotify, and offers a tier that lets you listen to higher quality of music. Similar pricing to Spotify I think. I had it for a while and really liked it, only stopped paying for it because I’m broke so I’m sailing the seas for now

GeneralVincent,

Ok so let’s use a real example. Many Christians are anti-LGBT based on their interpretations of the Bible and their moral beliefs.

So should we ban homosexuality?

Also your argument is just as flawed. The average person has a moral objection to domestic violence. This comic is referring to when there’s a difference between the average person’s moral beliefs and the religious ones, especially the radical zealot’s belief

GeneralVincent,

Because companies like to make money by breaking the status quo when there aren’t any rules.

It’s the thing they like to do most honestly, and why we need to make rules when we see open loopholes

GeneralVincent, (edited )

You said in another comment that Israel is justified in their violence because Hamas is their neighbor that has been launching bombs across the border.

And in this comment you blame Hamas violence on bigotry.

Until you acknowledge the decades of unprovoked violence to the Palestinian people by Israeli settlers, you will not be taken seriously.

Israelis are capable and have shown clear bigotry towards the Palestinians. And Hamas is violent because they were forced to be neighbors with settlers that were often violent.

You can keep pretending to be unbiased, but your bias is showing very clearly.

ETA: so a legend basically :D

GeneralVincent,

This is a good analogy if you think of video games as a consumable product.

It’s not a good analogy if you see video games as art. Like if you buy a portrait from a painter and two weeks later they come to your house and paint over it to be a stick figure. Especially if it’s just because they want more money from you.

It’s also not a good analogy if you see video games as rented or leased goods, like most game studios execs want video games to be. Imagine renting a car for your trip across the country and half way there, you wake up at your hotel, look out the window, and the rental company swapped it out for a tractor in the middle of the night. Hope that works for you!

Sure, it’s in the contract that they can do that. And maybe you finished the trip so it doesn’t really affect you. But it’s happening to other people, and we shouldn’t trust the company going forward because one day it could be you that’s screwed out of what you paid for.

GeneralVincent,

The difference is that the CCP has a lot of control over Chinese companies operations.

In the US, the companies have a lot of control over the US government.

Ok that’s an oversimplification, but it sounded good
