One of my favorites is from 1room, a cohabitation sim. One of the tracks, “Morning,” is one I listen to from time to time which plays at the start of every in-game day. It’s super bright and uplifting~

A more well-known all-rounder favorite would be Evenicle with a very compelling cast and reasonably good gameplay.

A few honorable mentions:

• Ambrosia, for providing a relatively large world full of ways to lewd the female protag nun
• Imperial Harem, for the excellent voice acting in an interactive game
• Re;Lord series, for a fun twist on real-time battles with clothing break
  • The third and final game in the series is not yet translated

I played a lot of lewd flash games on 4chan like ZONE’s Hentaikey flashes or things like Frank’s Adventure or Jungle Girl on Newgrounds. It’s just kinda stuck with me since, whether in the form of fan-translated Japanese visual novels or original western adult games. Kinda wild to me that you can get them on Steam now, though some games have some trouble with that.

I think it’s weird in a good way though, for the most part, to be clear. 👍

If Steam and GOG can flex their size as gaming giants and normalize selling and playomg NSFW games, then there’s way less friction involved getting into it and enjoying it. Making it possible to sell an adult game as an adult game instead of a SFW game with half its content cut out also makes it easier for people to filter it out if they don’t want to see it. It’s true though that they don’t welcome all adult games and have inconsistent rules around them, but it’s a solid step forward regardless for sure.

It’s a slow burn unless you throw your fights, but Saria Reclaimed is a great corruption RPG about a hot chick wandering the wasteland rife with people who have a bone to pick with her (or rather, one to give her). The encounters are mostly human, but there are some otherworldly monsters in some parts of the game, which can be a turn-off for some people.

The sex parts are either through in-battle cut-ins (that escalate as she becomes more open to them/makes advances herself) or in post-battle scenes.
