I don’t remember the specifics because it’s been a while and with the documents getting unsealed it’s hard to search for older stuff but his lawyers stated after his death he was very optimistic about his chances and even said something to the effect of “see you this weekend” the last time they met. Doesn’t necessarily “prove” anything, but then again we can’t really “prove” it one way or the other.

For sure, you can miss me with RETVRN shit. I don’t have the capacity to adequately articulate this point any more, but it is interesting to think about how “time” as such is socially determined and how much power over our lives we ascribe it. We take it for granted as a kind of “natural” force, and yet we can affect it through human action (daylight savings fast and loose example.)

IDK, not a particularly useful conversation politically I’d say at least for the moment, but interesting nonetheless.

I make a very similar roasted carrots recipe as a weekly staple, though cooked w/ potatoes and no butter or bugs (I should see if the local Fresca market has it) and highly recommend it.

There was only one thing I missed about the old CTH subreddit, and that was that we would occasionally get a lost lib that would stumble in and start calling us Putin lovers or some shit. It was always really funny watching them expect to bring the reddit debate shit in only to be completely not be taken seriously at all....
