I can make my left scapula pop/click by moving my scapulas closer together. I read on a medical website that it’s actually an ailment that can be remedied by surgery. I don’t really want surgery. I’m right handed, so it doesn’t affect me too much. Apparently, I’m the only one in my family with this issue and it’s supposedly a genetic issue.
That’s it. We’ll all be living off of Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies and Amy’s Organic Bean and “Cheese” Vegan freezer burritos soon! First the cows were affected, now the chickens. Good luck grocery shopping!

All I did was mention that I was mostly Scottish and Irish by dna. I didn’t even mention being part English and Welsh, too. Another reader saw my comment and decided to call me a “mutt” for being born in America. He also tried to insinuate I was worth less than him because he says he is English by dna. It really bothers me...
On that same note, if I were born in communist China, I would never call myself Chinese. Someone who lives in America and happens to have dna ties to China would not be corrected for stating that they are Chinese by dna. Why should that same sentiment be any different for European Americans?
So if a Japanese American applied for a scholarship that was only available to people of Japanese heritage, you would deny it to them because they were not born and raised in Japan? I disagree. The same sense should be applied to European Americans. We don’t deserve to be stripped of our heritage just because we are also American. A lot of the culture that goes along with Irish Americans has transcended from Ireland and the ancestors who lived in it their whole lives. You wouldn’t just put a label on me that says “American” and tell me my heritage is the same as the Americans who are participating in Mexican folklorico dances with traditional Mexican heritage dresses, and authentic mariachi bands, would you? I think it’s unfair to tell Americans that they are “just Americans”. Americans are so much more than that, and the word “American” doesn’t need to replace the culture with which we were raised and influenced.
You called me an “Amerimutt” even though I stated that I am Irish by blood and have lived in Ireland. To me, that implied you were calling me a mutt compared to people in Ireland. Shame on you.
I am also part British and Welsh. I happen to be related to British royalty. I think you should consider your mutt comment and look in the mirror. You don’t have the blood type to be calling me a mutt, or anything along the lines of a dog.
Well, unfortunately, when you’re poor and want to return to school, or change careers, your cheapest option is the military. Everyone stereotypes the military as offering only combat soldier jobs. The military offers more than just one career option. Want to change careers and become a medic to gain training for when you leave the military and can actually afford medical school? There’s the Army for that. Want to learn how to repair airplanes and jets as an aviation mechanic? There’s the Air Force for that. Everyone will just downvote me anyway. Let’s carry on that anti-military sentiment.
