It was something CNN was talking about a few months ago. Naturally people emigrate and immigrate all the time, but the way Chinese people were getting to America was a central part of the story. Naturally you never get closure in these stories.

Did people loose their homes? Did people end up jobless?...

I linked to this thread, only because it’s what got me thinking about this topic again. Me and my SO talk about phones occasionally, regarding our kids. Neither of them are anywhere close to an age where they might have one. However, as time goes on, we find ourselves so repelled by the idea of the kids having a fully fledged...

Also, we know Mark Rober loves fucking cops, but to straight up gloss over the fact that this fucking insane surveillance system is being used on the southern border confirms he’s clearly just a state department asset. What can you expect from a NASA alum I guess....

This video is definitely showing it’s bias. Im less educated in the subject though so I’m curious what other comrades have to say. What is Vox not saying here?

As this legislation becomes more of a reality, we’re going to see more of this rhetoric from classical media. It would appear that Colbert has already begun the process of sliding to the right along with American leaders....

In my continued exposure to leftist spaces and a leftist view on history it has become clear that all I understand about Stalin is the reactionary rhetoric I’ve been fed my whole life. I have only just started on reading theory and exposing myself to a leftist view, so Stalin as a topic isn’t something I’ve reached yet....

I understand this is mostly an empty gesture, but it does allow you to donate some money to the Trader Joe’s Union, which is better than nothing.
