I don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been at the very least harrassed by men they don’t know. I know so, so many who have been assaulted, and that’s just the women who have chosen to share their experience. Thinking your couple college classes means you know more about women’s experiences than women themselves is ridiculous.

I like to buy discounted old lemons. I wrap them up and toss them in the freezer. They thaw ugly but are still good for cooking.

For people who have psoriasis/eczema/bad skin, how did you get rid of your dandruff?

I’ve been dealing with dandruff since I was a kid, it’s always made me really insecure and always wear a hat. I’ve tried plenty of different hair products, none seem to work. It’s not just my hair on my scalp, it’s my beard as well. I’m a 19 year old male (Caucasian), I’ve been already deciding if I want to go bald...

My doctor prescribed taro-mometasone (I think that’s how it’s spelled?) and it worked like magic. None of the other stuff worked. I tried Head & Shoulders, then Nizoral and Neutrogena T-Gel, and I don’t remember what else. It was so bad that it was clumping and scabbing and my hair was falling out. I struggled for a year and then my doctor gave me that thing and the problem just vanished. It came back once a year later and then never again. It’s been several years.

I worked at a pizza place in high school and we actually still had those carbon copy credit card things for when the machine wasn’t working. I’m too young to have seen them otherwise.

I just use generic vegetable oil for everything. It’s just a mix of different kinds of vegetable oils like soy and canola.

I think a lot of people who switch to non-dairy milk never really liked to drink milk in the first place. It was easy for them to switch. I had to cut dairy when I had a baby with a milk allergy and it was so hard. None of the milk alternatives taste anything like cow milk. I hated all of them. Vegan cheese is pretty terrible, too. Even the most expensive fancy cashew ones taste significantly worse than the cheapest cow milk cheese. I did like Daiya’s smoked gouda and nutritional yeast is pretty good, but other than that I was so glad to have cow milk back in my diet after a year of being dairy-free. I like meat alternatives but dairy alternatives are just bad. I hope science figures it out.

That baby with the dairy allergy outgrew the allergy but still prefers oat milk.

I felt a lot of guilt at first because I was so tired when I was pregnant and had very little energy to play with my toddler. When 2 was born I then felt so guilty that I couldn’t give her as much attention as I gave her sister, and that I could no longer give 1 as much attention as before. I didn’t attach as quickly to my second but I did eventually. Maybe a couple months or so? I feel the same about them both now. 2 starts school this year and I’m so sad I’m not going to have my little buddy home with me all day.

I’m exhausted but having two is nice. I really love watching and listening to them play together (although their fighting makes me want to stab myself in the ears). Helping them build a strong friendship with each other is really rewarding.

Habanero tastes so good. Those and trinidad scorpion are my favourite hot peppers. I like making mystery hot sauce in September with a random mix of every kind of hot pepper I grew.

Hot peppers are pretty easy to grow, too. Trinidad scorpion peppers are stupid hot but they taste amazing. Highly recommend growing some.
