Some of us are idiots. What we should be saying is that the West helps developing nations to achieve the benefits they had in past with modern green technology.

Strategically let someone pass you?

Say you are in the lead of a race and there is like two laps remaining, and you have someone close behind. Like Max and Lando. Has it ever happened, or has anyone ever considered letting someone pass them on the second to last lap, with the expectation that they would have DRS on the last lap and get the lead back and win?

But that was more of a strategic way to let Hamilton by instead actually fighting for position like Charles and Max were doing. If Max hadn’t been instructed to give up his place, that game of chicken would never have happened

The other replies are correct and so are you. The track is very narrow and does not make for good wheel to wheel racing. It is fine to drive in a game/Sim and to watch cars going along. Even the f2 race was not particularly exciting.

It is incredible fun (and heartache since I am a fan of bayern) watching the coach related drama at Bayern and Barcelona. Especially the board at Barcelona are such humongous morons - convinced Xavi to stay when he had decided to leave and now looking to fire him because he said the cold hard truth to the press/public.

Begged Xavi to stay until he decided to stay. Then in the press conference before the match against alves(?) he said that Barcelona fans have to be realistic with their expectations of them challenging for titles and trophies because the club can’t sign players due to their financial troubles while the competitors (see Real Madrid) can sign whoever they want.

Laporta and the board are furious that Xavi has said this to the press and public after seemingly tell the board in internal meetings that they should still be competative next season.

I think i messed up a little. Here is his statement -

We will try to compete with Madrid, but I think the fans have to understand that the situation is very tough. First of all on a financial level. We can no longer say: ‘We want this player, and this player’. We do not have the same conditions as the other clubs with a good financial situation. The Barcelona fans have to understand that. That doesn’t mean we can’t challenge, but that’s Barça’s situation at the moment. We need time and stability, but we will also try to compete.

Very reasonable statement to make in my opinion

Neither of them is trying to model the universe (that is the purview of cosmology). We are trying to model very particular phenomenon happening in the universe and there is no reason to expect them to modeled using the mathematical structure. The fact that they are is very fascinating.

They are both describing the same particles.

Water and ice are made up the same particles and molecules yet the mathematical structure to define the effect of force/pressure is very different - plastic deformation vs fluid dynamics as the example given above
