I had the same thing happen. Job got outsourced, quality tanked but they continued to outsource more departments. Like six months later they were trying to rehire everyone. Fuck that noise.

When I was little it was completely normal for kids to fuck around the neighborhood with toy guns. Cap guns, water guns, whatever. And we “shot” each other and random people with them. This was even before they started putting bright orange barrels on everything.

And you know what happened? Nothing. Nobody freaked out. Nobody called the police. Nobody died. Kids being kids. Times sure have changed.

That’s why I always refused to do it. To me it was two things. 1 An insult of my need of personal time. And 2, you had hours that day to teach me something and failed to do so, and I’m expected to learn it on my own? That’s on you.

JUST TODAY I was going to buy WinRar. I've used the software forever, for free, and I just thought... I appreciate this, they've never given me grief, and I'm going to pay them.

And I went on their page to subscribe for a lifetime membership, and they wanted 20 bucks, which I was okay with, but it does not include Major Updates! I guess I’ll buy it and just click the do not check for updates button but that seemed kind of, I don’t know....

These same people will all stand up at once the moment the plane stops… and continue to uncomfortably stand there for like twenty minutes.

On my last flight my gf sprung up and was irritated that I wasn’t doing the same. Like where the fuck you going to go? One foot to the left? Just, why? I’m chillin.

My baseline is 30 cents per oz. That’s the sweet spot for decent value on food. Anything less than that is great. More than that, better be exceptional. I generally won’t buy anything more than 50 cents per oz.
