I received the paperback of Thinking in SwiftUI by Chris Eidhof and Florian Kugler last week.

It is an unusally intelligent book.
That explains the inner works of SwiftUI and enable understanding beyond the how it works ,to why it works the way it does.
Highly recommended.
As a bonus typesetting and diagrams make for a very pleasant reading.
PS: I ordered the printed version because I prefer books that way.

@thuro @chriseidhof The downside is getting updates, but I know what you mean. I have this in digital format and would much prefer to just pick up a paper copy and read through it. It might say something about our respective ages Lars.

Duh….. I just spend a couple of days preparing for a new video on using AnyLayout in SwiftUI. I found a number of articles that I was going to draw on.

@thedevme ‪Just be yourself Craig. That is more than good enough. I strive for consistency so I batch create videos for times like now where I cannot focus or do anything for more than about 10 minutes. It buys me the luxury and relieves the stress I put on myself.‬

Thoroughly enjoyed @designatednerd commentary on . I have been a fan since watching the Will Farrell movie. It is definitely a spectacle and shows how different music is in Europe compared to North America. I get a real kick out of the acts.

I avoided Covid for 4 years. 6 booster shots got me this far, but I was at the tail end of effectiveness and decided to go on a flight/cruise plus visited Vegas. Probably the 3 worst choices.
Let me tell you, this is not fun. 6 days of misery so far, sleeping 15hr a day and coughing the rest of the time

When I rewrote Museum Shuffle in SwiftUI one thing I did lose was the ability to pinch and zoom from any part of the image, as opposed to just zooming from the center of the image.

Got some intriguing tips/code from @StewartLynch and @ryanlintott today, which got me curious.

Well looky looky.

Using Museum Shuffle to repeatedly zoom into an image of an illustrated pocket watch from multiple points.

@MuseumShuffle @ryanlintott And… if you create an id state variable in your view struct as a UUID you can attach an id property to your ScrollableImageView and, set to that state property. Then add an onTapGesture (2 taps) to your image that just assigns a new UUID to the id variable and if you are zoomed in, this will zoom you back to normal.
