Embiid didn’t meet the new 65 game requirement, think that eliminated a lot of the usual players that you might argue are higher.

I’m still unsure how I feel about the rule. Like I get making the regular season more entertaining but felt like there were a lot of injuries affecting players this post season.

I know it probably won’t happen because both the players and owners won’t wanna deal with the lower revenue but the season should really just go down to ~58 games so that they mean more. Just play everyone twice and maybe throw in a slightly different in-season tournament if they want to make up some of the lost revenue.

The most brain dead reply I’ve read today. Not sure why this math is hard to understand for people but if someone votes 3rd party trump does not get an additional vote, so no it’s not the same as supporting trump.

If Biden wants to earn their vote then maybe he should not fund and supply a genocide then?

That really only applies if your vote can change the election which isn’t going to happen outside of the maybe 4 swing states.

With your same logic if your voting for Biden in one of the states he’s guaranteed to win or lose then your morally supporting a genocide for no actual change.

Like the other awards this is the first year voting is positionless. It makes sense that center defenders are seen as more impactful but still a bit weird to see 4 centers for the first time.

Yeah MPJ I will say feels like the starter that is most likely to be traded. He’s improved in other areas but like you said still doesn’t bring enough if his shot isn’t hitting to justify the max contract. Gordon is definitely the 3rd most important guy on the team.

They have the picks to tie in with him if they want to go for a 3rd star but that route feels difficult with them getting close to the 2nd apron which is why I think they’ll focus on upgrading the bench and likely move Nanji since he’s getting paid almost $9M to do nothing.

Yeah the Knicks have a lot to be optimistic about for the future. Even just getting healthy will be a big improvement next year and they have a lot of assets to make a move should they feel one is necessary.

Outside of the Celtics the only teams in the East around the same level are the Bucks who didn’t look consistent and are getting old, and the Pacers who still seem like they have more growing to do.

Really depends on the country you’d be going to.

If it has these same financial companies in them or any credit bureaus that factor in debt from here then you could run into issues.

If not then from what I remember reading this would actually work if you’re not planning on coming back since typically unpaid debt isn’t a crime and definitely not one a country would extradite over.
