I always find it super unusual that people can remember the specific dates they started doing stuff. Don't get me wrong, it's cool as heck, but for myself, I have no idea when I came to Fedi. It was somewhere not long into November. Or was it late October?

When did I start streaming? I dunno. My channel is old as heck, I believe, but I probably only started in earnest somewhere towards the middle of last year. What's the date? Who knows.

@ChiralTheAlien lol, I can remember I joined Mastodon on August 3rd at 11:34 with my first instance being Pawb.fun after learning about it from Lemmy, moved to Kitsu 3 weeks later after @freeplay opened my eyes to how much mastodon kinda sucked

But I cant remember what I had for breakfast 4 hours ago...

I'm so sick of explaining radiation to people. I have had conversations with at least 5 people in the last month where I needed to explain that not all radiation is harmful, as well as the different kinds of radiation there are. Some are bad, some are REALLY bad, some are beneficiary, and some cant even interact with you at all.

I share a amazon prime account with a friend (don’t tell amazon), and because we share about a dozen subscriptions we have a email that auto-forwards everything to both of us.

So last night I was shopping for some cough new toys on what i thought was my personyal account, looked at a large array of very embarrassing personyal items, and bought a couple, and went to bed ignoring my emails. So today, I just got a shipping notice, cool beans, well imagine my horror when I noticed this little thing on the email that said “forwarded from ‘sharedaccount@domain.com’”

I bought those personyal items on our shared account… I think I have to move away, change my identity, and completely delete my old self, I don’t think I can ever face the consequences of this.

disclaimer: It’ll be fine, i’m sure i’m just going to have a super awkward phone call, then live the rest of my life with incessant teasing
