I have been contemplating abandoning my HP (with instant ink subscription) for an Epson Ecotank. Stuff like this isn’t convincing me to stay. My subscription has already risen to $80 a year, so the value is gone.

My printer is mainly used for color photos and laser printers just aren’t as good at handling those.

I don’t understand the hate for charging for a product. I pay for a Mastodon client. If a Lemmy client that I really liked cost money and I felt the price was reasonable, I’d support that developer, too.

Woolly is my client of choice. I used Ivory, too, but I really took to Woolly.

Mammoth is a great free alternative but lacks some of the polish (and has a horrible app icon lol)

Running into a bug where images don’t load in the feed (seemingly random) but load fine when post is opened. This is one example of a post that showed a blank image icon until clicked

Full height image preview seems to have stopped working in latest build. I’m seeing clipped images even with the option toggled on. Worked fine in previous build. This post is one example:

Bug Report:

I have the theme set to “automatic” but the app doesn’t switch from light mode or to dark mode unless it’s forced closed and re-opened. Most other apps seem to switch as soon as you open them, even if they haven’t been force closed and closed by iOS.
