I agree, as long as we agree on definitions for non-violence and violence. Conflict and violence are ongoing for so many. Violence is divestment in certain neighborhoods, policing, food apartheid, lack of safe water, lack of schools, lack of healthcare, increased job precarity, lack of infrastructure and public transit. There is a lot of violence but perhaps you don’t agree on the violence that is already here and resolutely ignored by those in power.

Thanks for the FYI. Yes I know. Destroying ecosystems and habitats for thousands of square miles of this unlimited expansion of development absolutely does not help reverse climate change. And heating and cooling these gigantic cubic foot spaces is an additional burden on our energy systems and carbon footprints. Especially as we race towards another catastrophic extinction filter.

I know some people say to tell them some secret words about people getting kicked out of the Jehovah’s, but I find it hard to be mean to them. They are being coerced and guilted into it.

This is not the exception to the rule, it is the rule. You can’t create a priviliged class society built on land theft and not have this be the result. Settlers have been doing this and worse to Palestinians for 60-70 years, I am glad that media is finally putting some critical lens on it. Brownshirt settlers do whatever they want and take whatever they want. If Palestinians show a hint of defiance or retaliation, the IDF comes in and slaughters them. Repeat the cycle ad infinitum.

And it bears repeating that none of the console companies are willing to pay the $ 42,000 minimum of monthly access fee to Twitter’s API, when they used to use this functionality freely. Twitter is hard pressed to make a case for them to do so, especially given the platform’s own current fortunes
