When I showed my daughter the page with the effect settings she fell in love. She never uses the virtual desktops but we had to increase the numbers of desktops for the cube.
Not sure about Shadow but for the older games I prefer the Windows version. It looks better, runs better and is less buggy. A shame really. I explicitly bought those games when they got Linux support. But nowadays the Windows version is far superior.
Haven’t watched it yet, but I think this video covers that. youtu.be/TjbDyrRZX0o
I knew there was a reboot. I didn’t know it was released.
Ah, I remember being amazed by the graphics of the first one. At least in the demo. And I always quickly died because I had no f-ing clue how to play the game.
The faster you are the more laps you can get in per day. They’re just maximising their enjoyment of the whole course.
But seriously, you probably know yourself that racing isn’t just the racing part, but the training, mechanical work, the community and traveling and stuff.
So I have tried to search this community, Lemmy in general, and the GitHub issues on LemmyNet/lemmy repo, but didn’t immediately see anything discussing this....
Should theoretically be easy to implement. You should make a bug report to the lemmy-ui github.
Problem is that the language feature is underused. Many apps don’t even allow you to select a language. And even in Lemmy’s own UI it isn’t automatically filled in with a sane default. It’s just empty. So it’s unset for most of the posts and comments.
I setup a micro PC with Ubuntu and plugged it into my TV for media streaming, and was just wondering if there was a way to optimize the experience for non KBM

Hi I’ve just arrived on Lemmy but I’m already talking shit and people hate me like when I say Twitter is better than Mastodon (sorry I’m an idiot). But now I want to delete my post because I don’t assume but it won’t go away!!! Can someone explain to me how the delete system works? Thanks a lot.
With everything you put onto the internet remember that the services don’t have to delete what you want to remove. And chances are also good that someone archived what you said before editing or deleting.
And I guess with Lemmy and other federated services it should be relatively easy to set up a server that does not honor deletion requests at all.
I’ve looked at a lot of other immutable distros and I might just end up using one of those, but I feel like taking on a bit of a challenge and there’s a few things I’m not very keen on with existing solutions (last paragraph is my idea if you want to skip the context)....
BTRFS snapshots are relatively cheap. I have about 10 or 20 or so on my systems. Snapper manages that for me.
Also I’d say that you only want to roll back for catastrophic errors like the system not booting. If you discover after 8 upgrades that a package that was updated on the first upgrade has some critical bug you wouldn’t roll back everything else to fix the issue. You would just downgrade that single package to a known good version.
Yeah, if you have the cloud folder already mounted it should be trivial to re-encode the videos with Handbrake and using the cloud folder as the output directory.
