Alright if I can only possibly choose between Trump or Biden on the ballot in November you shouldnt have anything to worry about me choosing someone else whose name is gonna be on the ballot.
In the last 47 years Independent Parties have received a combined total of 0% of the electoral votes.
And thats going so well for us as we get to choose between Joe “Im a Zionist” who uses emergency powers to bypass congress to fast track weapons to Israel to commit genocide, and Trump.
the tire wear thing was a very warped interpretation of a study. Tire wear emits more particulate pollution than exhaust does. Pollution from exhaust is primarily gaseous.
If my math is right, about 2.6 million tons worth of tires are sold in the US annually. While co2 emissions from vehicles amount to around 1.5 billion tons. Even completely vaporizing every tire sold in a year wouldnt come close to tailpipe emissions.
Presidential candidate Jill Stein condemns Israel’s genocide and has opposed US actions of sending them more ammunition. And before you type up that First Past the Post response, ask yourself if you support First Past the Post. Because she’s also campaigning on Ranked Choice voting.
I start to wonder if corporate executives themselves arent responsible for this myth that the meaningful bulk of emissions comes from them. So consumers can feel guilt free about buying these gas guzzling chunkers, after all their choices dont have any meaningful effect on emissions.
But no, corporate headquarters doesnt have a giant smokestack spewing out those corporate emissions you hear about. Those emissions are coming from…SUV tailpipes! Transportation is the highest emissions sector in the US, and personal vehicles make up the bulk of those emissions, especially trucks and SUVs.
and where are these reactors under current president not-Jill-Stein? Like, we have nuclear power plants here. They ain’t recycling that spent fuel, the plan still is to bury that waste for thousands of years.
I dont care much about this topic anyway because its not like the options are just nuclear and fossil fuels. The rest of the developed world is leaving us in the dust with solar and wind generation
