#tbt chicken-sitting for a friend. I'd open up their coop first thing in the morning and hang out with them for a bit. Rosie would always jump up in my lap and fall asleep as I drank coffee and read a book. She was a real people hen. Rosie was a pal. The other hens weren't quite as friendly but thought I was pretty cool because I brought them cheese.

Racecar during her trucker cap phase. I put it on her once and she loved it so much she started pawing at me until I'd put the hat on her. She'd sit like that for an hour or more and defend her hat territory if any hands came into range. Only trucker caps would do.
