Sunset tonight was at 846pm and that is exactly when the male summer tanager came to the jelly feeder. The house finch also likes jelly, but will visit it only in the early evening. Raccoon Greetings for National High Five Day! This is a portrait of a former neighbour who showed up at my back door like this, to enquire as to where I had moved the compost bin. So I took his photo and made a print.
Toronto belongs to the raccoons. They just let us live here because we have good snacks.
There comes a time in every Torontonian's life when you have to have let your neighbour know that a family of raccoons has taken up residence in their roof.
For #NationalPetDay here is a watercolor of Linnaeus' pet #raccoon, Sjupp, by Lars Alstring, c.1746-7. Sjupp was a gift from Crown Prince Fredrik and lived in Linnaeus' garden at Uppsala. This work hung in Linnaeus' study at Hammarby.

@lgsp confermo. La cosa che mi è piaciuta di più di #Raccoon è l'interfaccia equilibrata: semplice e completa insieme come solo chi ha esperienza con lo sviluppo app sa realizzare.
Il problema di molte app del Fediverso è che chi le sviluppa parte dalle funzionalità del software federato e non dal modo in cui queste funzionalità vengono usate dagli utenti
Thanks to everyone who has ever given me feedback on my posts on here, or my music. Sometimes feedback is hard to hear, and I know it can be difficult to give feedback on someone's conduct (it is for me, anyway) so I appreciate those of you who do, rather than possibly misinterpret my intentions and write me off/unfollow me. Sometimes I don't mean things the way they come across, so thanks for helping me be better.
And thanks for y'all's patience with my annoying habits.
