Picked up my MC prescription at lunch today and it might be too early to call whether it’s the products or just a trick of the mind but things seem brighter already. I’ve taken myself out for dinner and I’ve booked a movie ticket after 👌

I went for a drive and tried a couple of new drive thru items. First I had an Enchilada Burrito from Taco Bell then I got a 6 pack of spicy mcnuggers from Maccas which were nice and fresh and the best nuggs I’ve had from them in YEARS. Also got an iced coffee which was real nice.

Welp the call this morning with MC doctor was short and sweet. Just said she’ll add some prescriptions to my portal in a few hours and we’ll have a follow-up in a couple of weeks. And to reach out with any questions or anything.

In other news, our new MacBook Pros arrived in the office today (we bought 6 and one is for me) so I’m currently on a tram to go get it. It’s a gorgeous day outside.

Interesting… so what happened with me is that I said I had no idea what I was choosing so she said she’d set up a prescription for me with 3 products. This afternoon they appeared in the Purchase section and I just had to select them and pay for them. Now it’s with the pharmacy to prepare.

I did do a bit of research and picked slightly different things from the catalogue than she prescribed but I’ll go with what she said and see how it goes.

I can only tell you of my experience. I have had an Antler soft case for… I’m not even sure how long. 14 years? I’ve travelled a fair bit with it and never had any sort of issue with it. It can expand a bit which is nice. My only advice I ever give anyone is get something with 4 good wheels. 2 wheeled luggage is dumb.

I trimmed my beard, shaved, gave myself a haircut, showered and was seconds away from booking a room up on the border for the night but then all of my motivation just fell away. I might just stay home and save my money, then go for a drive and find some mountains and start a new audiobook tomorrow just for a day out.

I do need to source some lunch though.

Went and grabbed a weeks’ worth of dinners for what ends up being like $7 a meal at the South Melbourne Market and that’s awesome BUT it was getting a little late to cook something so I grabbed a crispy chicken Caesar wrap from maccas on the way home. I mention this because I asked them to add a bit of that new spicy fiesta sauce to it too - which they wouldn’t do for some reason - but sold me a little tub of it so I can add it myself. Which I did. And it was incredible.

I might email them now and suggest strongly that they add it to their lineup and I am not the kind of person who does that.

I’ve booked a 3 night comedy cruise out of Melbourne in November. It’ll be a tram to get down to the ship and home and the cruise credits covers the entire balcony room + (soft)drinks package, WiFi and $100 on board credit. Free holiday! Just any gambling I do to pay for really.

It also leaves after work on a Friday and gets back before work on the Monday so I don’t even need to take any annual leave!

I like my chances of avoiding COVID for a weekend… he says, having contracted COVID inside the first 3 days of his last cruise.

Amazon clearly aren’t making enough money the poor dears. I hope they’re ok.

I’d instantly unsubscribe and hit the high seas if I didn’t also get Prime shipping from it.
