Hi 👋

After putting it off for a really long time, I want to pursue fixing my Boob Situation within the next year. I've been researching the clinics that do breast reduction/top surgery procedures in Glasgow, but it feels like the info available online is limited to typical target results, either like, B-C cup Normal Girl Boobs or totally flat masculinized chests.

I am actually looking for something more like small A cups or moob-ish, additionally a complicating factor is that my current cup size is around a G ( 🙈 ) and I'm far from ethereal and elflike so I'm worried about docs who will not take seriously or do a slapdash job on non-skinny patients.

I am agender so I feel like perspectives from transmasc ppl, nonbinary ppl, even cis women who got a similar result would all be helpful to me! I guess my main questions are A) are there any specific clinics in or near Glasgow that are good on this sort of thing? and B) If I can't find that specific information, what are red flags to look for when looking up a clinic or going to a consultation, that they will not be flexible or work well with ppl seeking atypical results?

Was just looking up the Lee Lozano quote about how smoking is cool and was of course inundated with the usual inane, condescending, reactionary takes about how her practice was a manifestation of "mental illness" and she only took on an "anrogynous presentation" as a misguided form of "protection from consequences" of sexism. If you decide to be cool in this life no one will let you have anything clearly.

This is literally what my favorite novel Aliens & Anorexia is about but it's really telling how for a lot of people any sort of social deviance fully "explains" an artist's work in an almost biological way; it came out of their condition without thinking, they couldn't have made it another way. I feel like Kafka is another victim of this where some people see "serious" or "respectful" engagement with his work as imagining him constantly dour and depressed, when there's also so much experimentation and style and humor in his work. He got pleasure from writing and hated that his dayjob took him away from it!

@cordillera right? like it's tragic but also weird and absurd in a way that ends up funny at the same time! The Trial is also really similar and many parts are just straightforwardly exaggerated farce about the mental torments of having a boring job and annoying coworkers lol
