I wonder what the appropriate greeting in english is for when you greet someone late at night. Like, "Good evening" doesn't feel right when it gets really late (say, 9 pm) but "Good night" is only really said when you're leaving... "Good day" would technically solve this problem but it sounds weird in my American head (or at least I have to hear it in a British accent...)
