It used to be that I posted a selfie and nobody gave a shit. I’d maybe get a couple likes. Now I’m used to get a certain amount of likes and comments and it’s kind of a problem, because if I post something and it doesn’t “perform” then I start thinking like “Did I look fat? Is it because my boobs are small? I shouldn’t post photos without makeup”. It’s dangerous. I can’t expect every photo to do numbers. I’m a person not a brand.

@Willow yeah I always have to remember, brain is optimized for protection not happiness. These are thoughts designed to keep me safe, to avoid pain from rejection or criticism. Brain is doing its best, but we don’t need to always be so vigilant

    @KekunPlazas haha I usually try to break up tasks into smaller steps that are less overwhelming. “Take care of the giant pile” is too big of a task. But “sort the shredding out of the pile” is manageable. “Shred the new pile” I can do. I’m just doing 1 5 minute task at a time until the hour long project is suddenly done

    Anyone got any better wording? This is the dialog I was going to add to gnome-firmware, asking users with updatable (but not supported) devices to upload the device list to the so we can nag the vendor. The expander is default closed, but opens up to show the full JSON.

    @hughsie Dialog button labels be explicit actions like “Upload”. Labels like “OK” and “Yes/No” do poorly in user testing. Looks great otherwise!

    I think I’m going to get into head turning today and learn about Group Meshes (I think it’s the equivalent of Deformers in Live2D). I kind of have wondered if it’s worth streaming this learning process but tbh at this point I think it’s probably boring to watch. It’s a lot of reading, searching discord, watching YouTube videos, trying stuff, it not working, repeat until I realize I need to change my model, etc etc. it’s very chaotic.

    I think right now my plan is to learn my foundations, apply the things I’m learning to this model as an iterative process, and then once I understand how to model, cut, rig, etc then I can go back through and make a nicer and more complicated model and stream that process. It would be a more interesting stream if I vaguely know what I’m doing and probably more valuable for others to learn from if it doesn’t include too many mistakes and uninformed decisions

    Haha okay so we found out today that running Inochi Viewer and playing a video game and streaming all at the same time is a bit too much for this computer. I’ve been doing all this on a mini pc. Like basically an Intel Nuc 😂 So I think I need to basically dedicate one computer to streaming and inochi and then another computer for the game and do HDMI capture
