This was a major plot point in Doctorow’s Bezzle that I just finished. It’s depressing to see it happening in real life but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.
I am running wg-easy and there is a way to passport protect the GUI used for creating Wireguard connections. Is there a way to prohibit connection to be made if not a password is entered? I don’t want someone to be able to access my VPN if for example my phone would be stolen unlocked. I don’t mind if it is client side only
After having tried what seems like every available desktop rss frontend, I just settled on the freshrss mapco theme with the landscape thumbnail and dark mode via dark reader instead of the built in option.
For the article loading issues, I’d recommend full-text-rss.

Y’know, assault is generally defined as causing a person to fear for their safety. What these cops were doing was absolutely assault, bumping into someone’s shoulder is not. Plus it kinda looks like a football play the aide, Freeland and the cop were playing.
Maybe his history of being arrested by police at other political events played a part in heightened tensions here. Not saying being an intolerable asshole warrants automatic arrest.
Also for anyone unfamiliar with the Toronto Sun, it’s our version of the Daily Mail in the UK.
To what end? Is there a magic number of arrests that will change your opinion on this matter? We both agree the cops were heavy handed in this latest incident. Not the first or last time it’s going to happen but the selective pearl clutching is ridiculous.
I posted the video to give additional context to non-canandians and anyone who isn’t familiar with the rebel news crowd and their ilk of outrage theatre clowns. No offense but if you were really curious, a quick search would’ve easily answered your question. Whether you choose to do so or not is not my concern.
