Just finished this super fun read on French cheese and how it both is and isn't all its cracked up to be, highly recommend if you're looking for a fun side quest read or just want to know more about French cheese I guess

    @HannahCelsius I notice this on BlueSky too, I think a lot of people open an account and start following people and then finish their profile (I recognize a lot of them from the hellsite)

    @steinhart @HannahCelsius I enjoy BS more than I do Mastodon, it's getting less good with more people joining though. But following people from an empty profile is in general just not a great idea on the late stage internet imho

    @HannahCelsius oh totally agree, I'm only letting it slide on the other app because it's people I know (or I block them because they are people I know). Filling out a profile before you do anything else is such a basic step, doesn't even have to take 5 mins, so I don't get why people don't do that first either

    Just learned about ! I happen to have taken a few mushroom photos last weekend:

    The photo of some tall pink mushrooms on the first floor. I think they're called Indian paint brushes, but I don't really know.
    A photo of two cute red capped mushrooms on the forest floor, one seems to have been nibbled on. I don’t know what kind they are.

    @HannahCelsius Ja eigenlijk moet je 's nachts alles opengooien en dan 's ochtends vroeg weer dicht maar als het 's nachts ook 21+ graden blijft heb je daar eigenlijk niks aan
