I use it and love it. This one said 93%, so pretty safe I suppose.

It’s just a shitpost. Please, let’s all try to remain clam.

I don’t know for sure, but I think theoretically you could calculate the time it takes between a tire driving over each line to determine the vehicle speed. I imagine that’s why there are two lines and not just one.

I was fine with giving them 5 seconds of attention in exchange for a video. Then they added more and more, and moved the skip button SOMETIMES. It’s straight up disrespectful.

This week I’ve gotten into Shining Force 2. I got a glimpse of it 20 years ago on a friend’s Dreamcast and finally get to dive in.

I have been absolutely itching to play Final Fantasy Tactics again, but it’s difficult to find. SF2 is scratching that itch nicely. Bonus that this cost less than $2 on Steam, and I’m able to fast-forward repetitive battle animations and longer dialogue.

I have a physical of FFT for PS1, but my PS2 always gives an “Unable to read” error for any disc, probably the laser?

Would love to be able to play it on PC with my controller. I am too clumsy to play on mobile very much. I think I need to look into RPCS3 some more.

I will check that one out. Thanks for the info!

Lemmy - 99% positive. It has replaced reddit for me, except when I need to look up some obscure thing that only exists in a 10yr old thread

Kbin - heard of it and have seen some comments on lemmy saying they were there using Kbin (iirc)

Mbin - never heard of it

Beehaw - is it its own platform? I thought it was just another lemmy instance

And that’s why interest on borrowed money tends to cost more than any guaranteed investment. Because otherwise the ones loaning would just take the investment themselves.

Based on what you said, you might have some kind of input latency, so even if you played perfectly you would never align to the metronome. If you think you nailed some notes and they are still off in the recording, that’s a sign. Check your DAW’s input settings for buffer length options.

Playing tight but not perfectly can be desirable too (may vary by genre) - it adds “humanization”.

I check Steam user reviews before buying.

When I occasionally watch something I’ll glance at reviews when I inevitably look it up on imdb, but that’s after I’ve decided to watch.

I don’t personally care to catch live streams and participate, but I do sometimes prefer a streamer’s commentary on a game compared to pure gameplay.

There was a streamer’s series I used to watch (Attacking Tucans playing Zelda OOT randomizer). Their personality and reactions to the game were fun to watch and added to the experience.
