my brain so does not get on with the looped frenzied classical on-hold music for the GP. i don't think it's much of a stretch to say the composer did not intend for his work to be listened to this way.
please continue to hold while we scramble your brain
@emmaaum
What drives me nuts is that there’s so much music in every genre that could loop itself quite naturally, and sometimes they even choose such a piece. But then they just play X seconds of it over and over, so you hear like the first 13 and half bars of a 16-bar form that never resolves. It wouldn’t be any harder to loop a full cycle but they never think of that.
James Jirayu is singing in my head again this morning. Yesterday it was Sarah Salola's from Matalada and Milk & Love's 23.5 OST and i realise like maybe two people who see this will have any clue what i'm on about. anyway, here's 23.5
the OST for a 21-episode lakorn is so firmly embedded in my brain these days that the only thing which can push it out is the lakorn's other OST. they sort of take turns.
if i could just get the syllables to stick i'd be learning so many words.
the songs are good oxytocin though 😍 (that's really ear hearts)
#TuneTuesday#StorySong John Doyle is just superb for both guitar work and story songs. If this suits your tastes, fill yer boots with the songs from this house concert. And anything else of his you come across, like his work with Michael McGoldrick and John McCusker :)
the local GP practice was bought by a city centre one who've been slowly closing it down. now have to go into city centre for annual blood pressure check for medication. except they've also relocated their city centre practice to a posh bit so it's a not-cheap 36 minute bus ride in with a not-short walk either side and then more walking to get to any shops i can afford. i don't have the energy for this.
at least two other neighbouring practices have closed too, options to change are limited
@sheepchase Don't know. GPs here are part of the NHS but also private practices so sometimes capitalism comes into play.
The practice which absorbed my local one has now also merged with one on the opposite side of the city.
@himboluigi I started 23.5
The first episode is so good, that gentle blend of humour, difficulty and kindness. Girls who are into astronomy. Girls who look out for each other. Giant fluffy dog. Aylin!!!
