I thought I'd try out #Thunderbird now that Microsoft has decided to kill Outlook.

First impressions are pretty good. But then I notice that they lack basic features such as color coding calendar events based on tags/categories, how can they omit a feature as basic as this?

There seems to have been an addon that solved this issue, but it was abandoned.
