The bitwarden passkeys feature they added recently is fucking horrible. Any authentication requests for like a yubikey or something get intercepted by the extension and makes it open a big popup window and you have to hit the "use browser" button to close it and allow you to use a hardware token.

Also there's no way to turn it off.

I just downgraded the extension.

Here's how fedi account migration should work

  • All your posts should be moved over with the previous timestamps being preserved
  • If migrating between 2 instances running the same software then all user settings should be migrated
  • Everyone you follow and everyone who's following you should be transferred over with no interaction by them. I shouldn't have to accept follow requests for people who were previously following me if they migrate instances.
